How this map helps

This map will help politicians understand the pent-up demand for BIXI Toronto stations. It also may help BIXI Toronto decide where to place stations in the future, if and when they get funding to add more.

We will share the data we gather with politicians, officials and the public.

Getting more support for BIXI Toronto

BIXI Toronto launched in 2011 with a $4.8 million loan guarantee from the City of Toronto.

In order to expand BIXI needs our politicians to approve an increase beyond 80 stations and a funding model to support that expansion.

BIXI Toronto is a bikesharing system in Toronto that is owned and operated by BIXI Toronto Inc..

We are Toronto citizens

We would like the City of Toronto to fully support BIXI Toronto. We want Toronto to expand beyond 1000 bikes it currently has (as of Fall 2011). New York City recently announced they were starting with 10,000 bikes; Montreal has 5000.
